AMOELBARROCO CAPSULE 2023
Capsule collection designed in 2023 for re-launching amoelbarroco after a decade of pause.
This capsule collection is inspired by psychogeography, the intersection of natural spaces with human-built structures and the repurposing of materials. Lighthouses, megaliths, pigeons and pigeon feeders coexist in the spirit of this collection. All the fabrics used in these garments are dead stock, repurposed home textiles or certified organic cotton.
Every look is captured in a different location and adventure, with my friends as models or through self-portraits. Check every image for credits. Medium format images by Helena Aguilar Mayans.
2023-2024 The project won a Fulbright/Xunta de Galicia scholarship at Pratt Institute in NYC (USA).
