THE LIGHTHOUSE PROJECT
Starting in 2023, The Lighthouse Project is an ongoing, long-term ritual dedicated to reusing clothing and fostering emotional attachment to garments through memories and experiences.
One particular garment is worn every time I visit a lighthouse -whether real or symbolic- and undergoes a continual transformation with new embroideries that celebrate each visit to every lighthouse. All lighthouses featured are accessible by public transport.
It's time to rekindle awareness, care for what we already have, and create new memories with it.
