MOURNING DOVE
Design based on city pigeons and the last years of Serbian engineer and inventor Nikola Tesla in NYC. Tesla lived at the New Yorker hotel with few to no social connections and constantly feeding pigeons at Bryant Park to find solace.
I designed this dress inspired by this person and fact.
The model is artist Ventura Pérez.
